My Ninth Teachers

1.Class Teacher : NAFEES TARANUM
Subject : Physics
Assesment: She has own flair of teaching. Strict ad effective and you dont want to fall in trouble with her, otherwise people will have to organize a funeral for you. Good mood very rare. Bad mood, beware!!
Might be hard at times...but overall a wonderful lady...knows how to teach Physics...i actually use to understand something in her classes. Sweet lady...i kno many people wont agree, but if u know her like i do... she is just a coconut: Sweet inside hard outside. If she has been your class teacher you might know what i mean!

2. Teacher : Smita (dunno last name)
Subject : chemistry
Assesment: Ok her frist impression was actually not really impressive...infact it was quite depressive... she was new to school and we were her first class...well in the first week itself she had us made her hate her... (for more details wait more my next post)... and i remeber how we all bitched about her in the evaluation paper... later part of the year she had changed eventuallly...i think she got adjusted to the school and us...and we to her...
Teaching wise she was gud...just gud...

3.Teacher : Geetamani
Subject : Biology
Assesment: She seriously has some problem with her pronunciation...i still remember her parenchymatous tissue...and arthropods and echinodermata and more stuff from that classficiation chapter...hehe.
Has a weird haircut(we use call cabbage head in the bus), with her weird owl sweaters (lol!) and not to forget her blouse... necks(ahem ahem!)...
Teaching was ok ok i guess...ninth grade biology didnt require much teaching anyway...you have to by-heart the text book what-soever...she use to give notes...and how i use to wish to tell her that "maam go slow, we are writing not listening, please dont forget that!".
Oh i have to write more about her...she was in my bus...i mean she still is...she is one teacher,who loves to sleep ( wink) and stare... usually she is asleep in the morning and if not...when i enter the bus she has to gimme that i-know-what-you-are stare(obvi she didnt kno what i am!!!lol)...which use to bugg me so much....

4.Teacher : Bindu Thomas
Subject : Maths
Assesment : Had only one hairpin used all year... n a pakka malllu...(oh tht goes for mani too! no offense plzzz!!)that doesnt bother me much...then why i am writing that??? bcoz i dont have any assesment of her, she made me hate my once favorite subject and....no further comments!!!!

5.Teacher :Gibi Cherian
Subject : English
Assesment : She was very slow in....almost evrything possible...but she has beautiful handwriting...use to be only to the point... rarely smiled...even though she had the subject we consider to be the lightest...we cudnt have enough fun with her...but towards the end of year we learn in the hard way...that she was actually a sweet lady... but i have to agree...i am sorry maam ..i slept in every english class!!! specially when ramanajum had to morgaged his land or something and when you, use to play those audio cassettes for us to fill our ah-so-interesting MCBs ( coz mine were already filled)
Explanation was i think Good...i reallyl dont kno...told you...i slept through most of the classes.
but i have to mention this...she is considered not only by me but also by others as one of the most kanjoos teachers!...she just cant give marks... i remember how many times just becoz of english(which is our only hope!) my percentage went where...honestly i dont write that bad...i think i do deserve more than 3 in every ten mark qn!

6. Teacher : Shonali Ganesan
Subject : Hindi
Assesment : When i learnt she was my hindi teacher i was very happy...that my prayers had been answered...i had never had her in any class before, but once in 8th she had come to my class for substitution and this lady won my heart... and i literally prayed that next year let her teach me any subject!!!
As we had classes with her i realised...she is strict,punctual,hated interference in class by any messenger,dedicated,sweet,always ready to help... and more of a friend than a teacher...now you reallly dont get such teachers always... and when you have a teacher like her you actually feel like studying her subject!!! We have had bitter as well as sweet n fun periods with her... I love you maam!!!!

7. Teacher : Akhter Jahan
Subjecy : History
Assesment : One-of-a-kind. UNIQUE. She was one who made boring history enjoyable...we actually use to wait for her period... it use to be so much fun... when she is you teacher you will definatly know current affairs...news was always on her fingertips... her jokes....

We never imagined history and civics could be so enjoyable. We use to look forward to all her periods...She was a gem... you could always look upto her for absolutly anything... i was really close to her by the end of the year and...i am not able to express my feelings in words... MAAM, I LOVE YOU...AND YOU ARE ALWAYS ALIVE IN MY HEART WITH ALL THOSE WONDERFUL MEMORIES. RIP.
Yes those who dont know have guessed it right, she has passed away... but she is very much alive in our memories and will be forever...

8. Teacher : Maimoona (dont kno her last name)
Subject : Geography
Assesment : Strict, to the point...interefered in class matters which got irritating...but overall in the end...we liked her too... gud teacher... use to guide use properly...but since i never really liked geography i never knew her closly enough...so that i can write more about her here.
